Most of the world’s cacao originates from tropical regions near the equator, with the majority – about 70% – sourced from West Africa. However, the highest-quality, heirloom cacao comes from Latin America, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years.
 
We source our ceremonial-grade cacao from the lush regions of Peru, where cacao is still grown, harvested, and processed using traditional methods that honour the plant’s sacred origins.
